MSÜ related program graduates, Faculty of Engineering graduates and other Faculties' related undergraduate programs such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, Astronomy and Space Sciences, Management Information Systems, Computerized Educational Technologies, Computer Education etc. can apply to the program. Candidates who have received their undergraduate degree in a field other than Computer, Software or Artificial Intelligence Engineering are subject to a scientific preparation program consisting of courses determined by the Department Board.

Graduates of Biomedical, Mechatronics, Computer, Software, Artificial Intelligence, Control and Automation, Physics and Physics Engineering; candidates who received their undergraduate degrees in Aircraft Electrics and Electronics (4-Year) of the Civil Aviation School, and Electrical Education, Electronics and Computer Education departments of Technical Education/Technology Faculties are subject to the Scientific Preparation Program to be determined by EYK after receiving the opinion of the Head of the Electrical-Electronics Engineering Institute Department.

Foreign Language Score is not required for application, and candidates with a valid English Language Certificate will receive an additional score of 10% of their language score.

MSÜ related program graduates, any engineering undergraduate program graduates of the Engineering Faculty Departments of universities, any sub-degree program graduates of Technology Faculties and Engineering Faculties with a major in Software or Computer Science.

Graduates of Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy & Space and related Science faculties' undergraduate departments, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems programs can apply to this master's program. In addition, graduates of Business Administration and related Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculties' undergraduate departments can apply to this program. Among the graduates of Business Administration and related Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculties' undergraduate programs; candidates whose applications are declared successful are accepted to the program "conditionally" with the condition of a one-year "Scientific Preparatory Program". These accepted candidates are subject to the Scientific Preparatory Program determined by EYK after receiving the opinion of the Software Engineering Institute Department Head.
